If cooking for Easter seems too “eggs-travagant” and the thought of preparing a Passover seder feels like a plague, check out this list of area restaurants that will do the cooking for you -- and the clean up too!


Easter Meals


Fork

Meal: Easter Brunch

When: Sunday, April 17 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Where: 306 Market Street in Old City

Menu: Two courses with add-ons like pastries, oysters and dessert. First course (choice of): honey yogurt, chilled pea soup, white fish rillettes. Second course (choice of): Easter ham and eggs, Eggs Benedict, Polenta, Cobb Salad, Burger, Leg of Lamb and more.

Note: Add-on dessert for $5 including carrot cake, chocolate creme, coconut custard.

Price: $45 per person plus tax and gratuity.



The Olde Bar

Meal: Easter Dinner

When: Sunday, April 17

Where: 125 Walnut Street, Old City

Menu: Maple Glazed Ham for two, Green Bean Casserole, Herb-roasted Baby Carrots.

Note: Also serving Easter brunch. Lady Bunny and other cocktails available.

The Bellevue Hotel

Meal: Easter Brunch

When: Sunday, April 17

Where: The Bellevue Hotel’s 19th floor, 200 S. Broad Street, on the Avenue of the Arts

Menu: Buffet including such delicacies as oysters, poached shrimp, charcuterie, Country Ham, Turkish spiced-rubbed lamb, Prime rib and much, much more. Fittingly for Easter, the buffet is topped off with a dessert table loaded with more than a dozen freshly-made confections.

Note: The Bellevue is located on the Avenue of the Arts in the heart of the city. Make a weekend of it.

Price: $90 per person/$45 for children 5-12. Plus tax and 24% gratuity


Del Frisco’s Grille

Meal: Easter Brunch

Menu: Braised short rib hash, crab cake Benedict, cinnamon rolls and more

Fork & Bottle at the Desmond

Meal: Easter Brunch

When: Sunday, April 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: One Liberty Blvd. in Malvern

Menu: Brunch menu

Note: Includes a visit from the Easter Bunny

Price: $45 per adult; $25 for children 5-12. Free for kids under 5


Mendenhall

Meal: Easter Brunch

When: Sunday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: In the Gold Ballroom at Mendenhall, 323 Kennett Pike in Mendenhall, PA

Menu: Baked goods, chilled seafood station, antipasto station, soups, salads, breakfast foods, made-to-order omelets, crème brûlée French toast, Hot entrees, prime rib and turkey carving station, and a dessert buffet with a bananas foster flame station

Note: Mendenhall is also serving an a la carte dinner on Easter.

Price: $54.95 per adult. $27.95 for children 4-12. Free for kids under 4. Plus 6% sales tax and 21% service charge.

Meal: Easter Brunch

When: Sunday, April 17 from either 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Menu: Custom-order omelet station, fresh Belgium waffles, Roast Beef Carving Stations, Loaded Bloody Marys, Bottomless Mimosas

Rising Sun Inn

Meal: Easter Brunch

Meal: Normandy Farm's Normandy Brunch Buffet

When: Sunday, April 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: 1401 Morris Road, Blue Bell

Menu: Buttermilk waffles and pancakes made-to-order, hot breakfast items, pastries, omelet station, shrimp cocktail and oyster bar, carving stations, hot entrees plus soups, salads and sides, dessert display.

Note: Farmer's Daughter at Normandy Farm is serving a prix fixe meal from 1-6 p.m.

Meal: Easter Brunch Weekend

When: Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17
