Time To Get "Figgy" With It

Who doesn't love cheese dip? Especially when its sweet, salty and mixed with figs! Although this syrup isn't made from New Jersey produce given the season, it still is pretty darn good. This dish is perfect for small gatherings, pre-dinner or maybe just cocktail hour - which is my personal favorite!

I saw a Whipped Feta Cheese recipe on Pinterest and decided why not try it, but replace it with my Fig Simple Syrup! The best part is, it's so simple to make.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Simply Bella's Fig Simple Syrup (3 oz)

  • Feta Crumble (4 oz)

  • Cream Cheese (4 oz)

  • Minced Garlic (1/2 tsp)

  • Dried Basil (1/2 tsp)

  • Olive Oil (1 tbsp)

  • Chopped Pistachios (1 tbsp)

  • Coarse Black Pepper (1/2 tsp)

  • Pita Bread

WHIPPED FETA CHEESE RECIPE

  1. Combine Feta Cheese, Cream Cheese and Olive Oil until the mixture is smooth. Add in Basil and Garlic and mix it again.

  2. Scoop the cheese out and into a shallow bowl. Create a well in the center and pour in Simply Bella's Fig Simple Syrup. Top with Pistachios and Black Pepper.

  3. Serve with warm Pita Bread (I used Naan because that is all that was left at the stores this week, works the same).
