Looking for the perfect cozy Main Line spot to enjoy an outstanding array of whiskey, craft cocktails, and inventive pub fare? Look no further than Ripplewood Whiskey & Craft in Ardmore, PA! I realized I was long overdue for a trip to this suburban gem, which recently celebrated its 5th year (I started going about 4 years ago and instantly fell in love). For this most recent trip, I met up with a good friend of mine who had never been there before (spoiler alert: he loved it!).
The standout star of the menu is the legendary burger, which distinguishes itself from others by topping the beef with a delectable combo of gouda and Lebanon bologna. I chose to indulge in it on my recent visit, and as always, it was phenomenal! My friend enjoyed short ribs, which were tender and flavorful. I enjoyed my usual cocktail pick, the Old Fashioned, which was expertly made for me by one of Ripplewood's knowledgeable bartenders. With a diverse selection of the finest spirits, you can't go wrong with any of their cocktails.
In addition to the downstairs bar, Ripplewood has an upstairs with another bar, and also a beautiful patio. They are located at 29 E Lancaster Ave in Ardmore. Check them out at ripplewoodbar.com !
Mixing drinks at home is easy until you actually try to get that bar-quality taste. I was checking out different ways to step up my cocktail game and looked into bartesian customer service to see how their setup works. Having a machine that handles the mixing sounds great, especially when you don’t want to stock a ton of different bottles.
Ripplewood whiskey really knows how to elevate a good time. I had it alongside an argentinian beef short ribs recipe, and let me tell you, the flavors came together perfectly. It’s the kind of experience that sticks with you. I’m definitely coming back for more, highly recommend trying it out!
