New Dispensary Brand In Egg Harbor Township To Launch This Weekend With A Locally-Focused Opening.

Since the legalization of recreational marijuana sales in New Jersey in 2022, Atlantic County has become a quickly growing hub for consumers, with over 120 dispensaries currently in operation from Atlantic City to Hammonton. Like any good restaurant or bar, a great dispensary experience combines excellent customer service, affordable and quality products, and a feel-good ambiance.

In the heart of Egg Harbor Township, the newest dispensary to open its doors aims to deliver all of those things and more with a strong focus on cannabis education. Old Route 30 Dispensary (currently operating as Red Oak Dispensary pending an official name change) hopes to use its location and community reputation to further end the stigmas surrounding cannabis through education and collaboration. They operate with the goal of providing a welcoming environment where customers are encouraged to explore the benefits of cannabis for their health and wellness.

"We're aware of a highly-competitive market in Atlantic County, and we're confident when we say that not only is there room for community over competition, but specifically in Egg Harbor Township's vast 500-square-foot-mile footprint, we are confident will be able to co-exist with everyone else operating and provide a stellar experience along with premium product and unmatched convenience," stated Shay Owensby, Managing Partner of 420 Marketeers.

With a fresh perspective on the market and locally-grown talent, the team at Old Route 30 has enlisted the marketing expertise of Spotlight Marketing Solutions, LLC a prominent local marketing/web design agency based in EHT, as well as 420 Marketeers, a Missouri-based, hyper-focused cannabis-centric agency that handles all things weed when it comes to dispensary needs online.

"I'm confident that Old Route 30 will be able to stand out in a young and already competitive market for Cannabis,” shared Spotlight Marketing Solutions founder Paul Brown. “I've sat in on CRDA meetings with management, and from top to bottom, the organization is approaching this venture with extreme detail and excitement. Other dispensaries in on the meetings didn't seem to have even close to the level of preparedness of these folks, which is a great sign.”

The powerhouse team will be kicking things off with three days of events and activities to celebrate the opening of Old Route 30.

Locals’ Weekend Lineup: DJs, Brand Pop-Ups, Deals, and Good Times

Celebrate all weekend from Friday, November 8, through Sunday, November 10. The festivities will feature live DJs, exciting pop-ups from top cannabis brands, and great giveaways.

On Friday, guests can enjoy exclusive brand pop-ups including Illicit (10 am - 12 pm), Garden Greens (3 pm - 5 pm), and Lily Extracts (3 pm - 5 pm). Saturday will feature a pop-up by TerrAscend from 4 pm to 6 pm. These are great opportunities for customers to learn more about these brands and products while exploring new offerings.

DJ Patrice McBride will be bringing the entertainment on Saturday from 12 to 4 pm with his signature mix followed by DJ Redline during the same time on Sunday with a unique blend of funk, soul, and classic beats. All weekend long, guests are invited to enter to win the $500 in gift cards that are up for grabs! All you have to do is RSVP for free on the Old Route 30 Dispensary website.

“We’re so excited to finally open our doors and celebrate with everyone,” Joe says. “We wanted to create a weekend full of fun and good vibes to welcome the community and give them a taste of what we are all about.”

Located at 6106 Black Horse Pike Units B1 & B2 in the Risley Commons plaza, the dispensary officially opens its doors on Friday, November 8th. It’s important to note that while the team at Old Route 30 Dispensary awaits final approval, they are currently operating under the Red Oak Dispensary name.

"We’re the same team, same vibe, and same commitment to our customers – just a temporary name change while we wait on the state,” explains Joe Simmons, Regional Manager.

See you there.
