One of the Top 100 Things to Do at the Jersey Shore is to interact with the wolfdogs at Howling Woods Farm in Jackson. This Sunday, come out to Howling Woods and meet and greet Jersey shore author and expert R.C. Staab and meet the gentle, beautiful wolfdogs.
As a special promotion from The City Pulse and NorEaster Nick, buy 100 Things Jersey Shore for $20 and you'll get one free admission to Howling Woods Farm. While Howling Woods does not charge a specific fee, they request a minimum donation of $20 per adult and $10 per child 10-12 years old, to help with our costs for feeding and maintaining wolfdog animals & facility.
Howling Woods Farm has more than a dozen wolfdogs and domestic-bred wolves at Howling Woods Farm have been featured in Vogue and Esquire, as well as music videos, TV shows, and films such as Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. You can interact with, pet, and snap a selfie with the large, furry creatures during an hour-long tour. You can even practice your howling to get them to respond in kind with the classic wolf howl.
Because New Jersey permits wolfdog ownership and surrounding states do not, this is the only related attraction within hundreds of miles.
For Sunday's weather forecast, turn to New Jersey's weatherman, Nor'Easter Nick.
Reservations are required. Call 732-534-5745 between the hours of 10am and 3pm Monday through Friday and mention The City Pulse or Nor'Easter Nick to get the 100 Things Jersey Shore/Howling Wood special promotion. Previous reservations do not apply. Only one free admission per book purchased.
