il Verdi at Tropicana Atlantic City Announces New Oceanfront Location

Il Verdi at Tropicana Atlantic City, one of the city’s most renowned Italian restaurants, is proud to announce a complete design transformation with a new oceanfront location and stunning views, part of Caesars Entertainment’s $400 million investment in the market. The restaurant, which specializes in Northern Italian cuisine with an award-winning wine list, will transport guests to a stunning coastal atmosphere this Spring.

il Verdi named one of Atlantic City’s Top 10 Overall Restaurants according to Open Table

"Since opening over 40 years ago, il Verdi has been an essential part of Tropicana's offering and Atlantic City's culinary scene," said John Koster, Regional President for Caesars Entertainment’s Eastern Division. "We are excited to take this iconic restaurant and its rich history to the next level and offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience."

The new il Verdi will feature a modern and elegant design that seamlessly blends with the coastal environment, transformed by renowned interior designer Olivia Jane, who is behind the multi-million dollar makeover of Amalfi by Bobby Flay at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. The restaurant will offer oceanfront views of Atlantic City and the world-famous boardwalk, creating a perfect backdrop for any occasion from a romantic dinner to a family celebration or a business meeting.

Il Verdi's menu will continue to showcase authentic Italian cuisine with a modern twist, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Guests can expect to find classic dishes such as Rigatoni Bolognese and Salmon Susanna, as well as innovative creations that reflect the restaurant's new identity.

"We are thrilled to unveil the new il Verdi to our guests and the local community," said Joe Giunta, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City. "The restaurant's transformation is a testament to our commitment to provide exceptional dining experiences that match our stunning location and world-class amenities."

Il Verdi will join Nobu Atlantic City and Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen at Caesars; Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay and Chicken Guy by Guy Fieri at Harrah’s Resort; and Ossu Japanese Tavern at Tropicana, as the latest restaurant openings in Atlantic City at Caesars Entertainment’s resorts.

Tropicana has extremely rude workers at the sports book. Not just rude, but extremely over the top rude. I've seen a manager screaming at a customer once and that was enough for me. My family was visiting from Italy and were so put off when they saw this, so needless to say, we will never frequent anything in Tropicana. Do better if you expect business from the public.
