Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Unveils Black History Month Pop-Up Museum February 18-20

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City partnered with the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey to unveil the “Jackie Robinson: Stealing Home and This Little Light of Mine: The Black Church” exhibits. Check out some footage from the official press confrence, as well as interviews with Curator Anne Glapion and Ralph Hunter of the African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey.


The free pop-up museum will run Friday, Feb. 18 to Sunday, Feb. 20 and will be located at the entrance of Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena. Visitors will explore videos, photos and personal memorabilia that pay homage to the first African American professional baseball player and to the rich history of regional black.



Additional Black History Month tributes at the resort include an Atlantic City musical revue “On Kentucky Avenue,” a performance by GRAMMY Award-Winning artist Kirk Franklin, 70s Love Jam, and a self-guided memorabilia tour featuring items worn by legendary Black artists.
