Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced today that over 2,000 front-line team members will receive a bonus for the second consecutive year in recognition of their loyalty, hard work, and dedication to the gaming resort throughout the pandemic and beyond. Chairman of Hard Rock International, Jim Allen, addressed team members virtually expressing his gratitude for their perseverance and contributions that have led to the success of the Atlantic City property.
“The dedication of our team members has been crucial to driving the success of our casino resorts, and we are proud that Hard Rock Atlantic City has been able to prevail during these challenging times,” said Chairman of Hard Rock International. “We are committed to the well-being of our valued team members.”
To address vital necessities for team members during the pandemic, the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Hard Rock International devoted over $90 million in COVID-19 relief efforts across the company portfolio, which supported team members through the continuation of pay following the property’s closure, benefit extensions, and several grocery gift card distributions.
The dedication and amazing efforts of the front line team members who adopted and enforced the brand’s market-leading ‘Safe + Sound’ protocols played a significant role in Hard Rock Atlantic City safely reopening and quickly earning consumer trust, resulting in company leading service scores and the largest increase in year-over-year market share. The company also invested millions of dollars in industry-leading enhanced safety protocols, ensuring the property and team members were properly equipped to accommodate guests and business needs since reopening.
“This is a very exciting time for our team members that was made possible by our incredibly generous owners, the Seminole Tribe of Florida, along with Chairman of Hard Rock International Jim Allen and Hard Rock Atlantic City partners Jack Morris, Joe and Michael Jingoli who have truly brought light and hope into the new year,” said Joe Lupo, President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
