The BryMax Brothers, Bryman and Nugget, recently visited the Jersey shore. The boys then headed over to Cape May, NJ, to experience its enchanting Christmas traditions. Known for its historic charm and festive decorations, Cape May transforms into a winter wonderland every holiday season. Their family-friendly adventure highlighted some of the best activities and dining spots in the area, making it an unforgettable trip for visitors of all ages.
Winter Wonderland at Congress Hall
The holiday spirit comes alive at Congress Hall's Winter Wonderland, where every corner is adorned with dazzling decorations. The BryMax Brothers strolled through the Enchanted Vendor Village, picking out unique finds from local merchants. Outside, they enjoyed rides on the Congress Hall Carousel and the Congress Hall Express, which offers a magical journey around the Veranda. The outdoor facility has many heated lamps, so make sure to find a cozy spot to enjoy that hot chocolate. Nugget said, “I loved the hot chocolate and the mini train ride, it was the best way to warm up after being outside!”
Pro Tip: Parking is also hard to come by, so dress warm and expect a little walk to the area.
Bryman noted, “It was a little cold walking there, but the lights on the town houses and decorations definitely made up for it!”
Info: Winter Wonderland runs from November 29 to December 31, with varying hours throughout the week. The highlight for families? The Breakfast With Santa series, hosted every holiday weekend in the Grand Ballroom.

A ride through Cape May’s historic streets on the Holiday Lights Trolley is a must-see experience. The Victorian homes sparkle with holiday lights, and the narrated tour provides fascinating insights into local Christmas traditions. Unfortunately, the BryMax Brothers missed out this year because tickets were sold out.

Dining at The Mad Batter
No trip to Cape May is complete without a stop at The Mad Batter, a family-owned restaurant inside the historic Carroll Villa Hotel. Known for its hearty meals and vibrant atmosphere, the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
The BryMax Brothers enjoyed their meal here, with possibly the largest "Kids Menu" Hamburger we ever saw.
For dinner, their is plenty of Vegan options and the soup of the day is an excellent choice. The restaurant also offers live music nightly, adding a festive touch to your dining experience.
Pro Tip: While breakfast and lunch are first-come, first-served, reservations are recommended for dinner, especially during the holiday season.
